Earliest Date a Strike Could Legally Begin

No strike has been called. This is the first date on which one could lawfully begin under Oregon law, not an announcement that one will.

Our union and the City filed final offers with the state Employment Relations Board on September 4 and September 8. State law requires thirty days to pass after those offers are made public before a strike may occur, and requires our union to give ten days' written notice beforehand.
