Central City Concern Workers Ratify Contract

Portland, OR — Central City Concern (CCC) workers, represented by Oregon AFSCME Local 88, ratified their contract with 97% of the vote supporting the three year contract which expires on September 30th, 2028.

100% of Independent Police Review Staff Vote to Authorize Strike

PORTLAND, OR – Yesterday, 100% of City of Portland Independent Police Review (IPR) workers represented by Oregon AFSCME Local 189-5 voted in favor of a strike. Of the 14 total IPR staff, 11 are represented by Oregon AFSCME.

Pride Event Raises over $2,000 for Outside In

To kick off the last weekend of Pride in Portland, the Oregon AFSCME LGBTQIA+ Caucus in partnership with AFSCME Local 2805, Multnomah Defenders, Inc and Local 3668, Metropolitan Public Defenders, hosted a line-dancing event to raise funds for Outside In’s LGBTQIA+ programs.
