Tell City Council: Settle a Fair Contract Now
City workers have been on strike since October 14. City Council is the City's budget authority. Council can give the City's negotiators the room they need to settle this contract and get City services back to normal. Councilors hear from the union every day. They need to hear from you, the people they represent.
It takes two minutes. Here's how.
1. Send a letter (fastest)
Fill in your name and address and we'll send a letter to the Mayor and every councilor. You can add your own words.
2. Email the Mayor and Council directly
Write to mayorandcouncil@corvallisoregon.gov. It goes to the Mayor and all nine councilors. Or use the City's public input form.
A personal note in your own words carries the most weight. Say which ward you live in, why City services matter to you, and what you want Council to do. For example:
I live in Ward __ and I depend on the people who keep our water clean, our parks and library open, and our streets safe. Please give the City's negotiators what they need to settle a fair contract with City workers now.
3. Contact your own councilor
Each councilor represents one ward, and a message from someone in their own ward matters most. Find your ward and councilor →
